Keeping our students wellness and safety as our number ane priority, our camps this summertime have express spaces available. Best practices for sanitation will exist followed throughout camp. The 2021/2022 Recital Flavor begins on Monday, September 20th 2021 in our newly renovated facility. Below yous will find the class attire for each level and style of trip the light fantastic. Gimmicky Modern:Course attire is a solid colored leotard, tan convertible tights, foot undies or bare feet, and dance shorts or pants
Hip Hop:Class attire is clothes the dancers tin can motility and feel comfortable in (no jeans or skirts); tennis shoes that have not been worn outside (popular make for Hip Hop shoes are DCs)
Pre-Pointe/Pointe I-Iii: Form attire is black leotard; pink tights and pink ballet or pointe shoes

Levels (D, C, B, A or I/II/III/IV) roughly reflect years of trip the light fantastic experience required to be enrolled in a form, while the numbers following them are roughly determined by the age grouping within the given experience bracket. Bella Via faculty ultimately decides where a pupil should be placed co-ordinate to experience, historic period, talent, and learning ability.

Baby Bellas (2 and 3 yr olds)
Bella Via's Baby Bellas classes are designed to enhance gross motor coordination, listening skills, musicality and nurture imagination. Each class includes developmentally advisable instruction through the utilise of music and dance. Props are used as tools to enlighten the child's imagination and practice dissimilar movements. Our goal is to create a fun and loving environment where fifty-fifty the youngest of students is excited and encouraged to learn. This is the beginning year students are introduced to Jazz! They will larn basic steps and technique that is fun and energetic. (6yr. one-time dancers will only perform ballet and tap in the recital.)

Ballet, Jazz, and Tap 7yrs

Ballet

Pre-Pointe: Dancers strengthen their calves and ankles with a strong focus on technique in preparation for Pointe. (students must have the kinesthesia's permission to enroll)
Pointe: with the faculty's permission, dancers will begin or go on their pointe training in this classical dance genre
Class Attire Levels D-A: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes… black dance shorts or ballet skirts are allowed

Jazz
This is a fun and energetic move form where students learn to dance and perform at a fast pace that is fun and exciting for everyone. Flexibility, jumps and isolations are taught to create a stylized grade of dance that draws from a number of different inspirations. (students must exist enrolled in Ballet)

Tap
An understanding of rhythm and timing is essential for dancers, and this class focuses on just that. Young students will acquire traditional tap steps, while learning to stay with the beat of the music. As dancers progress, they are challenged to create new rhythms with a greater understanding of musicality. (students must exist enrolled in Ballet)

Gimmicky Modern
Contemporary is a freeing expression of dance, and 1 of the virtually popular styles correct now! This grade will focus on perfecting the technical execution of turns, leaps, and jumps with a stiff focus on flexibility and strength. Dancers must be enrolled in Ballet and Jazz, or on a Trip the light fantastic toe Squad. **This form does not perform in the Leap Recital**
Musical Theater
Musical Theatre is designed to develop comprehensive musical theatre skills including theatre dance, partnering, acting, and character evolution. This class will be an first-class opportunity for students to prepare for school or community theatre auditions equally well as developing confidence and stage presence in immature dancers.
Class Attire: solid colored leotard, tan tights, dance shorts or pants, and tan jazz shoes
Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. This grade challenges dancers to utilize motility to translate music and express emotion.

Technique and Conditioning for Dancers
This class is designed to heighten a dancer's forcefulness, flexibility and performance of skills. Via Performance Troupe
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for dancers who are enrolled in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. In Troupe, dancers will learn a number of challenging dances from different genres to be performed throughout the customs. This is a team environment where dancers build confidence, technique, and the ability to learn choreography quickly and efficiently. Rehearsals are complimentary.
